Who is Jamie Cortland? You may have read one of Jamie's novels or perhaps a poem or two. She has written novels of romance, sci-fi, time-travel, and poetry under her given name, Weslynn McCallister. SKIN DEEP, by Jamie Cortland, is the first of her romantic suspense novels. She will also be writing novels of high drama based on true stories. She is now a full time Author, but once worked as a high fashion model, a secretary, and a sales person in real estate. When she's not writing or researching a novel, she enjoys visiting with friends and relatives, taking long beach or nature walks, boating, traveling and going to plays and musicals. Did I mention reading? All authors love reading and she is no exception. Jamie belongs to several professional writing organizations. Among them are Sisters in Crime, The Romance Writers of America, and the National Association of Writers. She is also one of the founding members of the Florida Writer's Association.
